About Our Farm

Located in the heart of Hope on the beautiful Waimea Plains, Country Blooms Flower Farm grows seasonal flowers with a touch of charm and a whole lot of heart.

I started this journey over 20 years ago when I bought a small 2-hectare lifestyle block, complete with a character-filled 100-year-old farmhouse. Back then, I saw more than just land — I saw the beginnings of something beautiful. It took time, courage, and plenty of trial and error to turn that vision into a flower farm, all while balancing a full-time job and family life.

Today, Country Blooms is home to myself and my big, friendly Golden Retriever, Teddy, who’s never far from the flowers. My mum also lives on the property in her own house, and together we enjoy the rhythm of the seasons and the joy that flowers bring. I’m also lucky to be supported by an amazing team of ladies who help bring the vision of Country Blooms to life — their care, creativity, and dedication are woven into every bloom we grow.

Eight months ago, our flower truck arrived — now a charming fixture during the flower season, parked and overflowing with fresh blooms.

We specialise in romantic, field and greenhouse-grown flowers including ranunculus, lisianthus, stock, paeonies, and romantic garden roses. These blooms are grown with care and shared with love — perfect for florists, event designers, and flower lovers across the South Island.
